Social Welfare

Mowelfund’s Social Welfare Program provides well deserved
assistance to its members. It aims to help the marginalized
and underserved movie workers. These are comprised of
stuntmen, make-up artists, cameramen, propsmen, and
the likes who work on a per project/picture basis and have
no private insurance.

For more than 45 years, Mowelfund has extended medical
aid to over 5,000 beneficiaries and death aid to more than
900 beneficiaries.

Membership
Application

Criteria: 
1.Applicant must have been working in the industry for at least five (5) years.
2. Applicant must be of age 25 to 55 years old.
 
Procedures:
1. Submit the accomplished membership application form to the welfare department.
2. Completed membership Applivation form must be form must be accompanied by 
two (2) 2X2 ID photos with white background. 
3. Submit a notarized Certification of at least five (5) years of active work/engagement in 
the industry from your employers.  
4. Assessment/interview/validation and evaluation of the application will be conducted prior 
to approval of the Membership Application. 
5. Upon approval, the applicant shall make their first payment of P500 yearly Membership 
Fee. Renewal fee is P400. 
6. The approved applicant shall be issued a Mowelfund Membership Card, good for one (1) 
year subject to renewal.  Mowelfund will also provide a brochure on the welfare benefits 
claims and procedures.

6. The approved applicant shall be issued a Mowelfund Membership Card, good for one (1) 
year subject to renewal.  Mowelfund will also provide a brochure on the welfare benefits

Procedures:
1. Platinum Membership for Institutions is a level up type of membership offered by Mowelfund to audiovisual and cinema related organizations, agencies, guilds, etc.
2. Applying Institutions pay for their entire employees or members for one (1) year.

Guidelines:
1. Membership Fee of Php 3,000 per year for each employee or member.
2. Applying Institution shall vouch for the membership of every member or employee.
3. All benefits and perks included for each employee or member.

Note: Amount of financial aid depends on the type of membership apply for.
