The EDTS Water Bonsai Project was mainly focused to teach Mowelfund members and staff on how to make, grow and propagate water bonsai. This project is intended to add knowledge in the beautification of our surroundings not only outdoors but indoors as well. It will also provide a better environment on Mowelfund grounds and for everyone to see. In line with the EDTS Water Bonsai advocacy of “Sagip Kalikasan, Kalusugan at Kabuhayan”, they want to raise awareness on how the Filipino people can prevent pollution and give job opportunity to less fortunate and great investment for the aspiring entrepreneur.
Edwin Dela Torre is an environmentalist and founder of the EDTS Water Bonsai Project. He started creating water bonsai in a simple plastic bottle and later on, come up of an innovative idea to present the water bonsai aesthetically. He is affiliated with Makakakalikasang Pinoy (MP), Samahang Makakakalikasan (SM) and 300 Ranger for Environment. His advocacies are Bawat Tahanan may Halaman ang Sagip Kalikasan, Kalusugan at Kabuhayan.
